Tower185 Street Food Night
In autumn 2019 the TOWER185 forecourt was transformed into a colourful and atmospheric piazza. The TOWER185 community enjoyed a leisurely evening in a relaxed setting with atmospheric music from the DJ deck, selected street food delicacies, and good drinks.
The first TOWER185 Street Food Night was a wonderful get-together where people could chat, enjoy great finger food, fine drinks, and good music – and relax after work against a unique backdrop. Starting from the small roundabout in front of the tower’s main entrance, the street food market ran along the arcades, accompanied by strings of pennants and lights, a variety of seating, bar tables, and the arcades’ soft lighting – to form a truly unique little world of its own.
The food-trucks courtesy of Tillys Tante, Adobo, Goose, Weingut Allendorf and Naiv served a wide variety of culinary delights such as soups, Philippine specialities, Belgian waffles, wine and crafts beer. DJ Pedo Knopp at the record decks provided great musical entertainment. And those who so wished could have their photos taken in the VW-Bulli photobooth and thus go home later with a souvenir of the memorable evening.
Later on, this marvellous setting was bathed in atmospheric light. The giant illuminated letters spelling out “TOWER185” in front of the entrance swiftly became a favourite Insta-theme.
